Package: perl-Moose
Summary: Complete modern object system for Perl 5

 Description:
Moose is an extension of the Perl 5 object system.
Moose is built on top of Class::MOP, which is a meta-class system for
Perl 5. This means that Moose not only makes building normal Perl 5
objects better, but it also provides the power of meta-class programming.
Moose is different from other Perl 5 object systems because it is not a
new system, but instead an extension of the existing one.
While Moose is very much inspired by Perl 6, it is not itself Perl 6.
Instead, it is an OO system for Perl 5. I built Moose because I was
tired or writing the same old boring Perl 5 OO code, and drooling over
Perl 6 OO. So instead of switching to Ruby, I wrote Moose :)

need to be able to "plug in" different SAX parsers to an application
without requiring programmer intervention. Those of you familiar with
the DBI will be right at home. Some of the designs come from the Java
JAXP specification (SAX part), only without the javaness.

 Description:
Term::ReadLine::Gnu (TRG) is an implementation of the interface to the GNU
Readline Library. This module gives you input line editing facility, input
history management facility, word completion facility, etc. It uses the real
GNU Readline Library and has the interface with the almost all variables and
functions that are documented in the GNU Readline/History Library. So you can
program your custom editing function, your custom completion function, and so
on with Perl. TRG may be useful for a C programmer to prototype a program that
uses the GNU Readline Library.

 Package: perl-Mail-SRS
Summary: Sender Rewriting Scheme for SMTP forwarders

 Description:
The Sender Rewriting Scheme preserves .forward functionality in an
SPF-compliant world.
SPF requires the SMTP client IP to match the envelope sender
(return-path). When a message is forwarded through an intermediate
server, that intermediate server may need to rewrite the return-path to
remain SPF compliant. If the message bounces, that intermediate server
needs to validate the bounce and forward the bounce to the original
sender.
SRS provides a convention for return-path rewriting that allows
multiple forwarding servers to compact the return-path. SRS also
provides an authentication mechanism to ensure that purported bounces
are not arbitrarily forwarded.
SRS is documented at http://www.openspf.org/SRS

not want to deal with the intricacies of HTML::Parser or the
dereferencing needed to get links out of HTML::LinkExtor.
You can extract all the links or some of the links (based on the
HTML tag name or attribute name). If a <BASE HREF> tag is found, all
of the relative URLs will be resolved according to that reference.

 Summary: WeakRef module for perl

 Description:
A patch to Perl 5.005_55 by the author implements a core API for weak
references. This module is a Perl-level interface to that API, allowing
weak references to be created in Perl.
A weak reference is just like an ordinary Perl reference except that
it isn't included in the reference count of the thing referred to.
This means that once all references to a particular piece of data are
weak, the piece of data is freed and all the weak references are set
to undef. This is particularly useful for implementing circular
data structures without memory leaks or caches of objects.

Unicode::MapUTF8 Provides an adapter layer between core routines for
converting to and from UTF8 and other encodings. In essence, a way to
give multiple existing Unicode modules a single common interface so
you don't have to know the underlying implementations to do simple
UTF8 to-from other character set string conversions. As such, it wraps
the Unicode::String, Unicode::Map8, Unicode::Map and Jcode modules in
a standardized and simple API.

which are not allowed in a tree (such as having a node be its own
