I've set up a mirror site of my repository using a Xen guest running CentOS 4 hosted on a box owned by my friend Chris Brookes in a data centre in Minnesota. I've created two new DNS entries for the city-fan.org domain, namely virtual.city-fan.org for the mirror machine itself, and mirror.city-fan.org, which has two addresses, one mapping to www.city-fan.org and the other mapping to virtual.city-fan.org. I've hence updated the city-fan.org-release package to get the mirrorlists from mirror.city-fan.org, which should result in better repo availability, given that either machine could be down for a while from time to time.

• Volunteered to take over maintainership of imlib, which disappeared from the development repo overnight (AWOL maintainer resulting in package being orphaned), causing dependency issues for libglade and gnome-libs, which I currently maintain

• Was going to update perl-Mail-Mbox-MessageParser to 1.5000 but it appears to break the grepmail test suite so I'm holding off until that's resolved (CPAN RT#24341)

Very few updates in the packages I maintain recently, but the python-twisted hierarchy has finally been updated to version 2.x on Rawhide (and FC6) and so today I updated bittorrent to version 5.0.4 in Fedora Extras for Rawhide, an update that has been a long time coming.

Updated bittorrent to 5.0.5 (Rawhide only), the day after I finally managed to get the 5.0.4 update done. Somebody finally raised a bug requesting an upgrade from 4.4.0 (for FC6), which I'll probably do next week if I get no adverse feedback from Rawhide users.

• Made some compat-wxGTK26 and compat-wxPython26 packages for FC6 and Rawhide that can be used ib conjuction with the wxGTK and wxPython version 2.8 packages in Extras for applications such as bittorrent that don't work with version 2.8; this is really just step down the road of resolving Bug #223623
