Local Packages

  • Updated curl to include the API documentation in the libcurl-devel package as per Fedora, and to use a different method to fix the bogus RPATHs on x86_64 (hacking the upstream-supplied libtool rather than using the distribution one), which removes the build requirement of libtool.

Fedora Project

  • Somebody else closed the curl merge review so I sent in a patch to merge the last few differences between the Rawhide version and mine (other than the cruft I carry to support building on older distributions and eventually building compat- packages), i.e.:

    • Don't need -D_GNU_SOURCE for visibility of NI_MAXHOST anymore

    • Don't need buildreq of libtool

    • CHANGES and README files needed converting to UTF-8

    • Fix RPATH in x86_64 package
