Fedora Project

  • Updated perl-MCE to 1.847 in F-31 and Rawhide:

    • Obsolete RedHat MCE-1.840-Sereal-deps.patch file; this patch file is no longer needed and finally resolved with this release

    • PDL random numbers now unique between threads: see https://www.perlmonks.org/?node_id=1214439

    • Replaced "PF_UNIX" with "AF_UNIX" in MCE::Util

  • Updated perl-MCE-Shared to 1.847 in F-31 and Rawhide:

    • Obsolete RedHat MCE-Shared-1.841-Sereal-deps.patch file; this patch file is no longer needed and finally resolved with this release

    • Updated PDL examples in the documentation including Cookbook on GitHub:

      • Resolved segmentation fault in global clean-up for shared PDL objects

      • Added missing pdl_random class method to MCE::Shared

    • Bumped MCE dependency to 1.847

  • Cleaned up and rebuilt perl-Test-Kwalitee-Extra (0.4.0) in Rawhide, adding workaround for issues with Module::CPANTS::Analyse 1.00 (CPAN RT#128602)

  • Built perl-File-Find-Object-Rule (0.0311) for EPEL-8

  • Built perl-Test-TrailingSpace (0.0302) for EPEL-8

  • Built perl-XML-SemanticDiff (1.0007) for EPEL-8

Local Packages

  • Updated perl-MCE to 1.847 as per the Fedora version

  • Updated perl-MCE-Shared to 1.847 as per the Fedora version
